About the Duo
Timothy Eddy and Gilbert Kalish began their ongoing collaboration in 1980 with an appearance at SUNY Stony Brook, where they had both been teaching since the early 1970s. In addition to annual appearances since then at Stony Brook and at the Mannes College of Music, they have given concerts at Lehigh University, Mount Holyoke College, Williams College, University of Delaware, Oklahoma State University, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, the Eastman School of Music, Central Michigan State University, Jordan Hall in Boston, and at Town Hall, Symphony Space, and the Frick Collection in New York.
